Pastoralist Development Initiative Kenya (PDI-KENYA) is an independent registered non- governmental and nonprofit organization based in Maralal, Samburu County.

Mission

Contribute to community empowerment, through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in the society.

Vision

To Improve and sustain livelihoods of Pastoralist communities in Samburu and engage in cooperation with neighboring ASAL Counties.

Motto

PDI-KENYA prime motto is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized pastoralist in Samburu County.

Intro

Independent Registered NGO

In 2018 a group of educated, dynamic and like minded individuals working in the development sector, got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs Pastoralist.

True to this spirit the organization was named Pastoralist Development Initiative Kenya (PDI KENYA) and registered as a non-governmental organization in 2020.

PDI-KENYA envisions a just and equitable society that recognize and upholds human rights and the fundamental freedom of pastoralist.
